Known as the Nike Air Footscape N7, the N7 collection’s latest item features streaks of red graphics on the side of a black upper, complete with a unique stitching pattern. To tie in with the Native American theme, Nike has added gold to parts of the shoe; in Native American culture, gold is a color that is said to be aligned with “high quality, success, achievement and positivity.”
“The bald eagle is significant both in my family and in Indian Country,” reads an official press quote from Nike N7 athlete Jude Schimmel. “For me, it represents wisdom, family importance and strength. Each of these things has helped me become mentally strong on and off the court.”
You can take a look at the new Nike Air Footscape N7 above, while the shoe itself will hit Nike’s online webstore and select retailers on November 7. Previously, the Footscape silhouette was given the techwear treatment and a striking “Wheat” rework.
