Montreal-based jean specialists Naked & Famous has collaborated with Capcom to create a custom set of Street Fighter II-inspired jeans. The jeans are based on the personas of Ryu and Guile, two famous characters from the Japanese’s much-loved arcade-style fighting game.

The jeans themselves are made from unique denim that is specially produced in Japan. The Ryu-inspired pair is made from slubby 120z selvedge denim and is embellished with a foil-embossed tan leather patch of the character, hadoken motifs, Ryu-printed pocket lining and selvedge edges. The Guile pair is built from a more rugged selvedge denim but boats similar decorations with a tan leather patch, sonic boom selvedge edges and camo-printed pocket lining. “We are denim nerds who are also video game nerds,” says owner and designer of Naked & Famous Denim, Brandon Svarc. “Working closely with Capcom to create these exciting jeans is literally a nostalgic dream come true for our team.”

The collaboration was launched with a specially made trailer that will amuse fans of the acclaimed fighting franchise. You can watch the video below. These unique jeans will be available at Naked & Famous retailers worldwide come the end of November for $184 USD.

Keeping with collaborations, an exclusive drop from KM20 and 424 has just been released.
