A Drake-Themed Chicken Wing Joint Pops up in Scotland
“Controlla Caribbean Chicken” anyone?

A Scottish entrepreneur has come up with a unique way to pay homage to Drake, by opening a pop-up concept restaurant in the Toronto rapper’s honor. Barrington Reeves recently opened A Wing And A Prayer, a pop-up chicken wing restaurant located in Finnieston’s DockYard Social, Scotland. The menu includes such themed dishes, including “Controlla Caribbean Chicken,” not to mention lighter fare catering to the area’s growing vegan population.
In speaking to Glasgow Live, Reeves had this to say about his new operation:
“This seemed like a natural marriage of our two passions – food and music.”
“We’ve really been able to push the boundaries creatively, coming up with fun and quirky ideas that most big agencies would shy away from. I always like to let a little bit of myself and my personality come through in projects but this has allowed me to take it to another level.”
Speaking of rappers and chicken, Nas’ Sweet Chick franchise is opening a new Queens location.
