Having released collaborations with the likes of J.W.Anderson and A$AP Nast over recent months, Converse has now teamed up with legendary Italian store Slam Jam for its latest joint project. Encompassing a range of apparel and footwear, the capsule was designed by artist and Kanye West collaborator Cali Thornhill DeWitt.
The apparel section of the capsule is made up of a utility jacket and matching trousers, as well as hoodies, tees and longsleeves featuring a “YOUR SILENCE GETS YOU NOTHING” graphic. These printed pieces are then finished with large black-and-white animal graphics on the reverse. For the footwear, Slam Jam has revealed two Chuck Taylor All Star 1970’s Hiker sneakers. The hi-top shoes come with a GORE-TEX upper, metal eyelets and vulcanized rubber sole, and are available in either a black or “Capulet Olive” colorway.
The full collection is available now from Slam Jam’s web store and physical locations, with prices ranging from $475 USD for the utility coat to $45 USD for a tee and the sneakers retailing at $156 USD. The full collection is set to make its way to the Converse online shop and select retailers on December 5.
