Extra Butter Joins CAT Footwear for Heavy-Duty Winter Boot
The “Urban Delta” is ready for action.
New York retailer Extra Butter continues making moves as it joins forces with Caterpillar‘s CAT Footwear imprint. The duo have linked up on a blacked-out collaborative boot, ready for upcoming winter weather.
The “Urban Delta” features a variety of branding, including 3D “EXTRA” and “BUTTER” embroidery on a strap that crosses the boot shaft and an Extra Butter patch near the rear of the upper. On the back of the shoe, “CATERPILLAR” is heat-embossed on the spine, which leads up to a pull tab to ensure the boot is easy to slip into. The understated colorway allows for full-grain leather, micro-perforated suede and ballistic nylon to mesh together without looking busy, while reflective laces ensure that the shoe won’t be easy to miss. Despite its heftiness, the footwear is made comfortable by Caterpillar’s EASE foam footbed.
Extra Butter will release the boot on November 18, which will retail for $160 USD. The store was recently the host of Jeff Staple’s Reed Space pop-up, which drew record crowds.
