Casio Unveils New G-Steel With Layered Carbon Bezel
A menacing design with high-tech functions.


Japanese watch label Casio has unveiled its newest addition to its G-Steel line, the G-Steel GSTB100X-1A, which boasts a mean-looking layered carbon bezel, state-of-the-art materials and advanced functions.
Measuring at 53.8 mm (a little over 2 inches) in diameter, this steel-cased Japanese quartz watch offers a robust high-tech look while maintaining the label’s signature durability and shock resistance. A flat sapphire crystal glass provides premium visibility and scratch resistance, while Bluetooth functions allow users to connect their watch to their smartphone for easy, ultra-accurate timekeeping and calibration.
Other features include 200-meter water resistance, a “Tough Solar” sunlight battery charging function, LED illumination, a second dial to track two time zones, as well as an ergonomic strap featuring unique ratcheting design that lets the watch sit comfortably on a variety of wrists.
