N.HOOLYWOOD EXCHANGE SERVICE and New Balance Issue a Loungey Capsule Collection
The athleisure line-up takes influence from military protective gear.
N.HOOLYWOOD EXCHANGE SERVICE has unveiled the extent of its collaboration with New Balance after dropping some teaser images last week. Staying in line with past N.HOOLYWOOD collaborations and releases, the monochrome line reworks basics with cues from military goods.
The selection of sweaters and matching pants are offered in black, grey and white, and drew inspiration from chemical protection gear utilized by the military for its understated colors and clothing sets. A striped logo is emblazoned on each piece in a contrasting color to ensure maximum visibility. Vintage ’80s sweats also inspired the clothes, which boast boxy cuts and muted detailing on the ribbing. Of course, the key piece is a pair of New Balances outfitted in tonal hues, featuring pull tabs on the heel and tongue. Illustrated images from the teaser show the pieces from the collection styled with other N.HOOLYWOOD goods in a series of comfy looks.
Launching November 3 at N.HOOLYWOOD’s flagship store and ZOZOTOWN web store, the drop ranges from ¥19,000 JPY, ¥20,000 JPY and ¥22,000 JPY (approximately $165 USD, $175 USD and $190 USD) for the sneakers, sweaters and pants, respectively.
