Making its debut at this week’s New York Comic Con 2017 was the world’s first look at Hulu’s upcoming series with Marvel, Runaways. Those in attendance were surprised not only with the trailer but with an exclusive screening of the show’s first episode. For those unfamiliar with the main concept of Runaways, the original comic book followed the story of six teenage superheroes as they band together to fight against their evil parents. In addition to this, the series follows each hero’s personal struggle to find their own personal identity and how to harness their powers correctly.

The Hulu exclusive is set to hit the streaming service on November 21 and is brought to you by the same creative team that worked on The O.C. and Gossip Girl. The show’s creators confirmed that Runaways is set within the same world as Marvel’s other happenings and encourages fans to watch the show in order to draw the connection. Take a look at the trailer above and keep it locked here for all of your New York Comic Con 2017 news.
