SHIPS JET BLUE Taps Keith Haring Foundation for Capsule Collection
Street art meets streetwear.
Japanese retailer SHIPS‘s youth-focused sub-label, SHIPS JET BLUE, has unveiled a collaboration with the Keith Haring Foundation. The artist’s recognizable work is printed across a range of staple pieces suited for fall.
A series of vibrantly-colored shirts and jackets sport collaged artwork from Haring — coaches jackets and long-sleeve shirts all boast a variety of reworked jacquard prints. The two varieties of long-sleeve T-shirts sport imagery on either sleeve and chest corner, or a large graphic on the front. Each long-sleeve boasts a distinct piece of art while the coaches jackets are consistent.
The dark-hued jackets retail for ¥10,800 JPY (approximately $95 USD), the simpler long-sleeves run for ¥7,452 JPY (approximately $65 USD) and the other long-sleeves weigh in at ¥11,880 JPY (approximately $105 USD). SHIPS stores, web store and ZOZOTOWN will host the collection.
