UPDATE: KAWS's BFF Vinyl Open Edition in Blue & Black Releases This Week

UPDATE: The KAWS BFF Vinyl Open Edition in blue and black variants will officially release this October 18, 2017. Interested buyers can head over to the MoMA Design Store’s website as well as at its two New York City shops to purchase the blue collectible exclusively starting this Wednesday at 10 a.m. EST. On the other hand, the black iteration will see a special launch on KAWSONE.com at 12 p.m. EST alongside a reissue of select Companion figures at the aforesaid date and time as well.

Not long ago, KAWS announced that his highly-anticipated BFF Vinyl Open Edition will release at the end of October. This time around, the Brooklyn-based artist took to Instagram to relay that the blue variant will see an exclusive in-store release at the MoMA design shops in New York City. Furthermore, the furry figure adorns the cover of the institution’s Autumn 2017 catalog.

There is still no word yet on an official release date, but fans can presumably expect an online launch of both blue and black iterations in the coming weeks at KAWSONE.com and the MoMA store’s official website.
