Here's What Went Down at Golf Wang's Flagship Launch
With appearances from Frank Ocean, A$AP Rocky and Solange.
Following on from the announcement of a Golf Wang flagship store, Tyler, The Creator gave the Fairfax space its official opening with a party featuring a whole host of big name guests and a DJ set from Taco. The launch event saw some of Tyler’s close friends come through and try their hand at the store’s GOLF le FLEUR-branded bowl, with a guestlist that included the likes of Frank Ocean, Solange, Luka Sabbat, Kali Uchis and A$AP Rocky.
The store — which was completely designed by Tyler — is packed with Golf Wang’s graphic-heavy Fall/Winter 2017 collection, including the “Problem Child” pieces and Scum Fuck Flower Boy merch. Elsewhere, Tyler’s GOLF le FLEUR collaboration with Converse appears on the rails, with the rapper stepping out in a previously unreleased red and blue pair of his signature sneaker.
