50 Cent & Gerard Butler Face-Off in New 'Den of Thieves' Trailer
“If anybody moves, you shoot them, you understand?”
STXfilms has released the first trailer for the upcoming Den of Thieves film starring Gerard Butler, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, and O’Shea Jackson Jr. of Straight Outta Compton. The premise follows the intersecting and personal lives of an elite unit of the LA County Sheriff’s Dept. (lead by Butler) and the state’s most successful bank robbery crew, of which both Jacksons are apart of. The outlaws plan a seemingly impossible heist on the Federal Reserve Bank of downtown Los Angeles but someone else has plans to put a halt to their schemes.
The crime saga takes inspiration from 1995 crime-drama Heat starring Al Pacino and Robert De Niro. Den of Thieves marks screenwriter Christian Gudegast’s (London Has Fallen, A Man Apart) directorial debut, and is based on an original screenplay he co-wrote.
