After making history earlier this year by becoming the first female rapper to earn a solo No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 following Lauryn Hill in 1998, Cardi B has been in high-demand. We caught up with the Bronx rapper earlier this month to talk about the formula behind her newfound success when she told us, “Ion know what to tell you.” True indeed, sometimes you say more by saying less.

Meanwhile, Cardi B made her late night debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday evening where she performed her confident No. 1 single, “Bodak Yellow” with a cohort of backup dancers.

“Bodak Yellow” was eventually displaced from the No. 1 spot by Post Malone and 21 Savage’s “Rockstar” but still remains on top of Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop airplay chart. Press play to watch above.
