The Nike Mayfly Leather Premium Gets Fancy With Suede and Vanchetta Tan
The retro runner dives into the lifestyle realm.
Nike’s Mayfly runner originally released as a lightweight marathon shoe intended to only last for 100km. In 2013, the runner reemerged as a lifestyle shoe; this year, the Swoosh is bringing the retro silhouette back with added lifestyle attributes in a white and blue colorway. The shoe features an off-white suede upper, a contrasting blue graphic print that resembles the pattern found on the wings of a mayfly bug, and a Vanchetta Tan leather heel tab. In terms of tech, the shoe boasts a breathable mesh upper, a phylon midsole for lightweight support, and a rubber outsole for traction. Retailing for $110 USD, the Nike Mayfly Leather Premium in “Off White” is available at select Nike retailers such as Sneaker Politics.
