FDMTL's 2017 Spring/Summer Video Explores Tokyo by Night
A fitting tribute to the brand’s home.
FDMTL (Fundamental Agreement Luxury) has steadily been making a name for itself in a crowded denim market in recent years. Helmed by designer Gaku Tsuyoshi, the Tokyo-based label’s exceptional craftsmanship, boro inspirations and indigo-dyeing techniques have brought the label much attention, even collaborating with various names such as Vans, Dover Street Market and Danner for exclusive releases along the way. While the durability and quality of the garments is almost a given due to its roots, the label’s uncanny ability to incorporate traditional design cues into contemporary wardrobe styles is what sets it apart from others. This was most recently illustrated in the brand’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection, for which we have now obtained the accompanying visuals for. In the clip FDMTL explores the streets of its home past sundown, highlighting key pieces from the range throughout. You can pre-order any of the garments online now.
