Originally introduced as Steve Caballero’s second signature shoe in the early ’90s, the Vans Half Cab is without a doubt one of the most iconic skate silhouettes around. Therefore it’s no real surprise that the model has crossed over into the fashion realm as well; most recently by way of collaborative releases with Gosha Rubchinskiy and Maiden Noir. For the Spring/Summer 2017 season Vans introduces one of its cleanest executions of the model in a while, using a plush suede base rendered in a stylish off-white. Rather than opting for a completely tonal color scheme, some contrast is provided by the white lacing and crisp vulcanized midsole.
