Icosae's 2017 Fall/Winter Collection Takes Inspiration From English Royalty
Founders and brothers Valentin and Florentin Glémarec showcased an outerwear-heavy collection.
Valentin and Florentin Glémarec are brothers and the founders of Icosae, which recently showed its latest collection at Paris Fashion Week. Icosae’s Fall/Winter 2017 looks draw inspiration from English royalty, specifically abdication scandals of past kings, as well as Ainou’s costumes and paintings. These influences manifested itself in an outerwear-heavy collection consisting of oversized overcoats, trench coats and pinstripe hooded coats. Trousers were slim leg and the footwear used throughout was Dr. Martens.
