Henrik Vibskov Experiments With Texture and Structure in 2017 Fall/Winter Collection
An artistic approach to fashion.
For his Fall/Winter 2017 showing at Paris Fashion Week, Danish designer Henrik Vibskov continues on with his experiments in texture and structure. Dubbed “The Five O’Clock Leg Alignment,” the seasonal range kicked off with top-to-bottom clown-like vertical-striped outfits with corkscrew earmuffs. For here, Vibskov’s influences travel through a wide spectrum featuring tops with coral reef motifs, sweaters with suprematist designs, and onward to puffy, oversized outwear. It’s unclear as to what directly inspired the often conceptual designer, however his artistic approach to fashion is as transparent as it’s ever been.
