Following up his Canadian tuxedo affinity for spring/summer, Olivier Rousteing kickstarted his Fall/Winter 2017 showing at Hôtel Potocki during Paris Fashion Week with Bon Jovi’s “Runaway” and a number of traditional military-inspired looks, including camouflage prints and aviator shearling bombers. The ’80s rock vibes continue on throughout the show, from the Scorpions and Queen playing through the speakers, to the incorporation of gold accents, vibrant beading, plush velvet, colorful alligator leather, and mesmerizing sequin tunics. Once again, Rousteing does what he does best: delivering tasteful ostentation with the help of his royal army.
