Dior Homme Continues to Reinvent the Black Suit for 2017 Fall/Winter

With everyone from A$AP Rocky to Boy George in attendance, Kris Van Assche revealed his latest collection for Dior Homme and the 2017 fall/winter season. As the Parisian house has teased on its Instagram, the Belgian designer presented the who’s-who crowd with 40-plus looks that were, as always, “traditional yet modern.”
Assche has a penchant for reimagining the old, and with the black suit being a Dior hallmark we see a number of updates to the classic menswear staple, be it with crafty accessories and unconventional materials, or brand new silhouettes. Mingling among the bright orange contrasting pieces and fox fur, the two elements that caught our eye more so than the others were the mosh pit-printed jackets and the sweaters that read “they should just let us rave” under a portrait of the great Christian Dior. If he was alive today, we bet he’d approve of KVA’s latest show.
