One thing we can always count on when it comes to Dries Van Noten, is that the Belgian designer will continue to prove that he is the master of mixing luxury and romance — especially with menswear. Considered by many as the “designer’s designer,” the 58-year-old creative has always been a favorite amongst other talents in the industry.

For 2017 fall/winter, we see Mr. Van Noten once again focused on creating a collection that’s poetic and sensuous. The romantic color palette of dark reds, burgundies, navy, brown, blacks, and whites are a signal of the house’s unyielding regard to its powerful aesthetic. Tailoring, which is also a signature aspect of the brand, is top notch throughout — there are soft suiting, precisely pieced outerwear designs, and leather combo tops. Standouts also include the oversized down coats, plaid pieces, and fine knitwear.
