Daniel Bodin Lands World's First Double Backflip on a Snowmobile
Ahead of this weekend’s Winter X Games in Aspen.
It’s been some time since legendary snowboarder, Jim Rippey, landed the world’s first backflip on a snowmobile back in the ’90s. A lot has changed in the sport. So much so that 3-time X Games gold medalist Daniel Bodin has taken the sport to new heights, literally and figuratively, by landing the first double backflip. “I did it,” said the Swedish freestyler. “I can’t believe I did it! The rush! It just can’t be described — nobody in this world can understand the feeling. I’ve nurtured the dream about nailing this trick more than two years.”
Catch Bodin, and maybe another double backflip, this weekend at the Winter X Games in Aspen.
