California-based streetwear retailer Commissary has teamed up with Vans for a friends and family limited edition of the Vans Era in a striking white on black makeup. The understated low-cut silhouette receives a flashy colorway by way of a black upper base and a stark white branding text print throughout the quarter panel and throat. The vamp and heel counter remain all-black, while the loud white graphic print creeps onto the midsole as well. For an added touch, the collar lining is printed with “You Don’t Have To Go Home” in one shoe and “But You Can’t Stay Here” on the other. Though it’ll be difficult getting your hands on this Commissary family and friends Vans Era, which is limited to just 48 pairs, you can still appreciate the collaborative pair in the photoset above.
