The Comme Des Garçons Homme Plus 2017 Fall/Winter Collection Weaves a Romantic and Whimsical Tale
Colorful patterns and toy-inspired embellishments.

Rei Kawakubo will be this year’s Met Gala theme, so anything attached to her name should be of note until then. For the Comme des Garçons Homme Plus 2017 fall/winter collection, the fashion house decided to bridge the gap between timeless romance and youthful exuberance.
Models walked the runway dressed in colorful wigs, but that didn’t deter anyone from noticing the excellently-tailored pieces in the collection. Suiting came in various fits and cuts, but the most memorable part of the range are the colorfully-printed silhouettes that even had some off-key embellishments for an abstract finish. Deconstruction also continues to dominate the line, and that’s well-represented in the asymmetrical layers, unorthodox twists, and raw-edged features.
