BAPE Reinterprets the Traditional Kung Fu Jacket In "1st Camo"
Just in time for Chinese New Year.

A couple of seasons ago we saw Supreme reinterpret the Kung Fu jacket in black and denim iterations as part of its Spring/Summer 2014 offering. Now another streetwear giant in BAPE has decided to take on the traditional silhouette in anticipation of the upcoming Chinese New Year, swiftly following the “Year of the Rooster” collection. Unsurprisingly it’s the brand’s signature “1st Camo” pattern that adorns the eye-catching reinterpretations, which also keeps traditional design cues such as the standing collar and knot button closures. Available in yellow and green, you can purchase the BAPE China Jacket at the brand’s locations for ¥49,800 JPY (approximately $426 USD).
