A.P.C. Digs Into Its Own Archives for 2017 Fall/Winter
Celebrating its 30th anniersary with a special capsule as well.

For A.P.C.’s Fall/Winter 2017 collection, Jean Touitou’s fashion imprint looks to the past for inspiration and as a result, the seasonal range becomes the “epitome of discrete sophistication.” Rather than look to the future with technical fabrics, the Parisian brand transforms traditional cold-weather materials, such as wool, corduroy, suede and denim, with contemporary fits and modern production techniques.
This collection also features a special capsule baring the label HIVER 87. For the first few seasons, A.P.C.’s collections bore the names HIVER, meaning winter in french, or ETE, meaning summer, and the corresponding year, rather than the actual brand name. HIVER 87, the 2017 version, incorporates a special edit of reissued archive pieces from different times the brand’s period as well as newly designed items that incorporate archive logos and imagery. The inclusion of this capsule comes as the brand celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.
