Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence Star in the Romantic Space Odyssey 'Passengers'
What could go wrong on a 120-year voyage to a colony planet in a spaceship carrying 5,000 people?
Directed by Norway’s own Morten Tyldum (The Imitation Game) and written by Jon Spaihts (Prometheus, Doctor Strange) comes our first look at the romantic, sci-fi thriller Passengers. Set on the Starship Avalon as it makes its 120-year voyage to a distant colony planet, the film follows Preston and Aurora (Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence), two of the 5,000-plus people traveling along in hibernation pods, who, due to an alleged malfunction, wake up nine decades before their initial estimated time of arrival. Stranded on the this spaceship, reality of the inevitability begins to set in, however that soon must be brushed aside as their vessel, and the passengers aboard face grave danger. Passengers will hit theaters December 21, 2016.
