Nike in conjunction with EA SPORTS have teamed up for a limited edition Mercurial Superfly. The best part about the boot is it highlights the progression from the 16-bit graphics of ‘94 to today’s high definition output. The boot’s medial side features a pixelated 16-bit graphic that transforms to high-definition on the lateral side. A Mercurial logo was designed especially for the boot and an EA SPORTS logo appears on the sockliner, lace and heel. A golden thread through the laces and an iridescent plate completes the overall look. The Mercurial x EA SPORTS boots will be available on September 26 from Nike Football App and Nike.com, while the virtual boot will become available on September 22 in EA SPORTS Football Club Catalog. Limited to 1,500 pairs, make sure to pick up your pair.
