Tokyo's French Embassy to Showcase ZOZOTOWN Founder Yusaku Maezawa's Personal Jean Prouvé Collection Next Month
“the CONSTRUCTOR” will hit the ambassador’s residence for two nights only.

This October, The Contemporary Art Foundation and Galerie Patrick Seguin have come together to pay homage to iconic French architect and designer Jean Prouvé. Aptly dubbed “the CONSTRUCTOR,” the special showcase will take place at the French ambassador’s residence in Tokyo and highlight the personal Prouvé collection of none other than Yusaku Maezawa, the founder of ZOZOTOWN. The extensive exhibit — the first large-scale presentation of the designer’s works in Japan in over a decade — is set to include over 60 pieces of Prouvé-designed furniture, as well as architectural photographs and reference materials created throughout the design process of the pieces.
“the CONSTRUCTOR” will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both October 22 and October 23.
