Hood By Air Teams up With PornHub for Its 2017 Spring/Summer Collection
The video sharing site sponsors Shayne Oliver’s latest NYFW show.
Never one to shy away from pushing boundaries — resulting in its Paris Fashion Week show being held in a Marais sex club — Hood By Air partnered with PornHub to showcase its latest collection at New York Fashion Week. In order to champion this unconventional collaboration, the lineup included tanks and underwear bearing the video site’s logo, along with hair and makeup euphemistically described as “mischievous children who got into households accidents, like getting into Vaseline,” reported by The Cut.
The theme of “wench” was imbued as invitations for the show, titled “Handkerchief,” mimicked a Babysitter’s Club book cover, while collared shirts with name tags bearing the word were affixed onto the front of models. Primary colors took a strong hold throughout the show, balanced against monochromatic black and white palettes. As usual, the brand’s avant-garde silhouettes didn’t disappoint as floor-length coats and provocative transparent tops flowed across the stage, with tops displaying bold statements paired with parachute pants, and an eye-catching pair of “double boots” in collaboration with FRYE. A star-studded front row of celebrities including Naomi Campbell, Jaden Smith and his girlfriend, Sarah Snyder, Juicy J, Jussie Smollett, will.i.am and Teyana Taylor, all showed up to witness Shayne Oliver’s latest creative endeavor.
