Gucci Mane Set to Star in Harmony Korine's 'The Trap'

Gucci Mane, who was incarcerated until recently due to firearm charges, has been steadily making up for lost time with his constant music releases. Now the rapper has announced that he will be part of director Harmony Korine’s next film, The Trap. After appearing in Korine’s Spring Breakers and a Supreme ad shot by the director, the Atlanta native revealed that he will join the cast of James Franco, Al Pacino and Benicio Del Toro for the upcoming crime thriller. Additionally, Gucci has signed a book deal with publisher Simon and Schuster and is developing a clothing line called Delantic, with 300 Entertainment co-founder Todd Moscowitz.
