Caterham Celebrates 60th Anniversary With Limited Edition Seven Sprint
Only 60 cars will be built.
To celebrate its 60th anniversary, Caterham recently unveiled an exclusive model titled Seven Sprint that culls design cues from a 1960s vehicle that apparently never came to fruition. The retro sports car was displayed at this year’s Goodwood Revival—a three day racing festival that is held annually in London, England. The British manufacturer’s latest iteration of their coveted Seven cars touts six various colors, chrome hubcaps, an exhaust silencer and flared wheel arches that are fitted on past models. As far as interiors go, the car boasts three-spoke steering wheel made of wood, a crimson red upholstery and a dashboard with the same color. Performance-wise, the Seven Sprint delivers a tame 80 horsepower with its 660 cc three-cylinder engine from Suzuki. Moreover, this vintage-inspired beaut can reach 60 mph at approximately 6.9 seconds.
Only 60 Caterham Seven Sprint models will be made and are priced at a reasonable $37,000 USD. To learn more visit Caterhamcars.com.
