British lightweight sports car manufacturer Caterham Cars presents the 2015 Caterham Seven 620 R. Inspired by vintage styling and embodying the car maker’s emphasis on simplicity and overall lightness, the latest Caterham model sports no airbags, no electronic aids, no telematics, no radio and weighs a mere 1,200 lbs. The 620 R model, in particular, comes equipped with a supercharger 2.0-liter Duratec, offering 310 horsepower and 219 pound-feet of torque. Serrated fins and an extra intake for cooling decorates the nose as the front suspension features a wider track, performance tuning, adjustable dampers and aero-shaped control arms. The result is an immaculate drive as a 310 horsepower to a 1,200 lbs car provides better power-to-weight ratio than a Bugatti Veyron or the McLaren F1. A vintage green coating finishes the high performance, yet practical car. Head over to Caterham Cars for more info.
