OAMC's First 2016 Fall/Winter Footwear Drop Is Here
Luke Meier brings compression sock liners and Vibram soles to some footwear classics.

Since establishing the label back in 2013, Luke Meier’s OAMC has consistently put fresh spins on iconic wardrobe staples, dropping the likes of a Masai-inspired Spring/Summer 2016 collection before taking on vintage military wear for Fall/Winter 2016. And Meier’s latest footwear designs are perfectly in line with the rugged, militaristic vibe of the upcoming seasonal apparel. Highlighted by the Compression Blucher (which updates the heritage dress shoe with a thick Vibram sole unit and a neoprene sock liner), the range also includes a Compression Boot and Aviator Boot, both of which make use of everything from Spanish bull leather and Italian canvas to calfskin lining, Riri zippers and Norwegian welts — a construction technique also employed by the aforementioned Blucher and one that makes all three silhouettes re-soleable.
Hand-finished and crafted in Italy, OAMC’s first footwear drop of Fall/Winter 2016 is available now from stockists like HAVEN with prices ranging from $716 USD to $789 USD.
