The Nike+ Running App Gets a New Name and a Facelift

The Swoosh has given its popular Nike+ Running app a major makeover, reintroducing it as the Nike+ Run Club app in the process. Featuring a completely overhauled UI, the new and improved app now boasts “coaching plans” that allow users to individually tailor their runs and track their workouts via “coaching plans” that log and track the progress. There’s even a “Benchmark Run” that highlights your improvements or lack thereof. Perhaps best of all, the app features tons of social network integration so you can link up with your friends and compare workouts or even compete against one another.

Nike+ Run Club is available now, free of charge, for iOS via the App Store.
