Take a Look at the Dallas Cowboys' New $1.5B Training Facility
The Star features a 12,000-seat indoor stadium.

The Dallas Cowboys have returned from training in California to their new headquarters, The Star. The Cowboys, in partnership with the city of Frisco, are on track to complete a massive practice facility featuring a 12,000-seat indoor stadium dubbed The Ford Center. The team’s latest space will also include retail shops, restaurants, and a hotel, encompassing 91 acres altogether and costing $1.5 billion USD. Owner Jerry Jones is reportedly interested in hosting NFL Scouting Combine at the Ford Center, as well as bidding for the 2018 NFL Draft. The Frisco ISD will also utilize the state-of-the-art stadium to host football games for its eight high schools, which is the first time an NFL team and public high school athletic program will share training facilities. Nike, which also sponsors the school district’s athletic apparel, offers a sneak peek at the branded locker rooms ahead of the official opening on Sunday via the images above.
