Car lovers and racing game fans will be well aware of the Porsche license debate which has disallowed all of Porsche’s cars from being present in Gran Turismo ever since the first game. Though an unofficial project, a small independent team of designers came up with a hypothetical take on what a Porsche Vision Gran Turismo creation could potentially look like. Considering the Porsche brand is almost synonymous with racing, the team of five automotive designers and one expert photo retoucher took inspiration from the 1969 Porsche 908 LH race car. The 908-04 Concept also borrows design concepts from some current Porsches, including the 918 Spyder, the 919 Hybrid racecar, and the Mission E concept car. Though we know this isn’t an official Porsche product (and may never enter into the world of Gran Turismo), it would be a shame if this Porsche 908-04 Vision Gran Turismo concept never progresses further than the scale model mock-up.
