The ASICS GEL-Lyte III "Cockatoo" Is No Longer a KITH Exclusive
Good news for those who missed out on the limited #kithstrike.
Back in May, KITH dropped one of the best GEL-Lyte IIIs to pop up in a minute. Sadly, the “Cockatoo” ASICS retro was an exclusive #kithstrike from the New York-based imprint and disappeared in a flash. However, if you — like many others — missed out on the kicks, fear not: ASICS is offering up a more widespread release for the design. Taking its name from the minty green hue the covers the vast majority of the suede and mesh upper and cotton laces, the “Cockatoo” look comes complete with grey contrasts for the mesh collar and split tongue while a tan-colored GEL-equipped sole unit provides the plush cushioning.
Fans can find the clean look now at afew, which hopefully means that other #kithstrikes — like last weekend’s “Indian Ink” GEL-Lyte III — will make their way to additional ASICS stockists as well.
