ts(s)'s 2016 Fall/Winter Lookbook Showcases the Brand's Refined Workwear Aesthetic
Take note of the fabrics, fit and construction.
Takuji Suzuki was a magazine stylist, editor and creative director before he started his label ts(s). With so much experience under his belt, it only seemed natural that a clothing venture would be the next step. Sharing the same passion as his brother Daiki, who is also founder of the brand Engineered Garments, Takuji wanted to create a line that echoed his deep interest in rare vintage workwear and military garments.
For 2016 fall/winter, we see Mr. Suzuki staying consistent with what he knows best: well-constructed pieces made from quality fabrics and trims. The plaid outerwear designs, along with the knitwear tops, are our most coveted items in the lookbook, while the shirting, trousers and vests are agreeable choices for key layering staples. As always, proportion and drape become important factors in the brand’s overall look, and it’s nice to see a fine balance between slim and loose silhouettes for the cooler months ahead.
