Lost & Found is not your typical commercial fashion brand. Founded by Canadian-born Ria Dunn and her partner Alessandro Esteri, Lost & Found seeks to redefine luxury and promote clothing that is design-conscious, high quality and sustainably made at the same time. It is no surprise that the garments from Lost & Found’s 2016 spring/summer collection are constructed with organic, flowing silhouettes that allow for extensive flexibility and comfort — drop crotch pants and long-line tees are ubiquitous throughout. The brand’s treatment of fabrics evokes a worn-in yet minimalist feel, with garments being given a faded black wash and hems left in their raw state. The unfinished nature of the garments doesn’t detract from their fit. Tees and cardigans cling to the form in a manner that is both masculine and sensual.
