Twitter Reacts to the Yeezy Boost 750 "Light Grey/Gum" Selling out in Record Time

It is a given that Yeezy releases will be hair-pulling affairs, given the astronomical worldwide demand that is compounded by reseller’s bots wrenching the product from the shopping carts of real fans. This was much the same case yesterday with the glitch-plagued online release of the adidas Originals Yeezy Boost 750 “Light Grey/Gum,” with Kanye West himself announcing that the sneaker had sold out completely in one minute flat. However, the sneaker was not marked “Sold Out” for another agonizing two hours, causing many to continue trying in futility.
The ensuing mass despair made suitable fodder for gallows humor on Twitter, with many who had tried (and inevitably failed) to cop a pair making the best out of their situation. Check out some of the best responses below.
