Joya's Brooklyn Location Reflects the Brand's Elegant and Industrious Ethos
Tours of the space are also offered for the curious.

Fragrance design studio Joya‘s newest outpost is located just outside the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The label commissioned the talents of architecture firm Taylor and Miller to properly build a space that mirrors the brand’s streamlined, yet industrious aesthetic. To execute this, suspended panels of oak veneer and steel are hung from the ceiling to convey clean lines. Geometric alcoves that showcase the products are then added in to reflect the house’s cast-and-mold technique of crafting its candles and ceramic offerings. Both parties wanted to build a space that had the feel of an elegant retail shop and a functioning factory, since the facility behind the boutique is actually where the candles, soaps, perfumes, etc. are made. In addition tours of the workshop are also available for curious consumers.
If ever you’re in the area, make sure to visit the shop.
