FACETASM Makes Its Paris Debut With 2017 Spring/Summer Collection
Ochiai is in Paris to impress.
FACETASM is already an established name in its home of Japan, but the brand is joining the big leagues with its debut show in Paris. Designer Hiromichi Ochiai was shortlisted for the LVMH Prize and he definitely didn’t disappoint with this showing. In fact, Ochiai said that he approached the collection knowing that he had to woo the crowd, saying, “I just wanted to show myself and what I’m good at.” He exhibited his delicate tailoring in a range of jackets, suit tunics, trousers and shirts, as well as enlivening simple pieces by virtue of unexpected layering and streetwear-inspired pieces.
