During Sunday night’s Billboard Music Awards, Rihanna paid tribute to the late great icon in her own special way during Madonna and Stevie Wonder’s performance of Prince‘s “Purple Rain.” Not everybody was a fan of Madonna’s cover of “Nothing Compares 2 U” until she was joined by Stevie Wonder for the surprise “Purple Rain” duet which resulted in of the night’s most memorable performances. Rihanna of course made sure to hit that dab one time for the Purple One before it was all said and done — watch it below and the rest of the performances from the Billboard Awards here.
