Patta’s Newest Short Film Is a Looming Night Terror

The Dutch brand goes dark.

Dutch streetwear brand Patta has released a short film, titled Concept of Wind, as part of its 2016 spring/summer collection. The film, directed by Holland-based filmmaker and visual artist Emmanuel Adjei, features a gloomy, overcast aesthetic rich in poetic imagery; churning waters, the flitting of bird’s wings and the flickering of street-lights all lend a foreboding and surreal atmosphere to the piece. The resultant film is equal parts dreary and dreamy—like a looming night terror—while the argument that serves as the film’s central conflict is muted, letting the images stand on their own for audiences to parse through as they see fit.

You can watch the piece above and shop the collection’s graphic-heavy, sportswear-inspired pieces over on Patta’s webstore now.
