adidas Dresses Its Slip-On Primeknit Superstar in Blue
“Shock Blue” to be exact.

First it was red, now it’s blue. After making its bold debut just last month, adidas’s tweaked take on the Primeknit-constructed Superstar 80s is back in a “Shock Blue” colorway. Like its “Lush Red” predecessor, the new release ditches the construction of last summer’s Consortium releases and instead opts for an elasticized, slip-on design a la the Very Spezial Primeknit — one that keeps the Superstar pedigree intact thanks to its shell toe and the use of an eyestay and lacing despite the sock-like upper. And like the red colorway, the “Shock Blue” look is capped off with a conceptual touch in the form of the shoe’s item number — S75426, in this case — along the tongue.
Those looking for a contemporary take on the ’80s classic can find these now at Three Stripes stockists like Caliroots.
