Brain Dead Launches Record Label With New Tape and Apparel
With music and mixes from Gaslamp Killer and Gimme 5’s Michael Kopelman.
Following the release of its collaboration with Dover Street Market, Brain Dead channels its penchant for music with the unveiling of its record label. Inspiring its latest capsule range, Kyle Ng offers up a pair of graphic-print shirts, caps and pins. The tees were creates in collaboration with Innovative Leisure’s psychedelic Thai band Khun Narin and also come with an experimental mix by Los Angeles-based beat wizard Gaslamp Killer. Completing this latest drop are cassette tapes featuring individual mixes from France’s Pubesky, Stussy Tribe member Michael Kopelman, French DJ/producer Biscuits and Brooklyn’s Broken Call Records signee Gaul Plus, who all created audio counterparts to fictional movie posters designed specially by Brain Dead for each DJ.
