Aston Martin and Zagato Preview Their Carbon Fiber Vanquish
The essence of an important design relationship.

Italian design company Zagato has joined forces with Aston Martin to deliver an eye-catching, carbon-fiber bodied Vanquish concept. The collaboration will make its official debut at Concorse d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, marking their fifth mashup. With a relationship that spans about 50 years, this edition is a display of progress since the DB4 GT Zagato from 1960.
The Vanquish concept hosts taillights with a Zagato twist that’s mixed with the Vulcan supercar’s LED technology. In the rear you’ll find a quad-exhaust system that’s complemented by a retracting rear spoiler along with a body that has carbon-fiber detailing. Zagato also leaves its mark along the hood with a double-bubble profile which pays homage to 1950’s design sensibilities.
Within the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato you’ll find a combination of carbon fiber and leather with Z-quilted stitch patterns on the seats, headrests and center console. Its power is provided by a V12 engine, pumping out 592 horsepower.
