Starting off as a professional cook before becoming a musician, Action Bronson was heavily influenced by Mario Batali’s Molto Mario TV show, just as much as the Wu-Tang Clan. In a feature for Billboard, the Queens rapper joins the legendary Italian chef at his La Sirena restaurant in New York to make Buscatini pasta with octopus. Batali evokes just as much rambunctiousness as the F*ck That’s Delicious host during the expletive, wine and weed-laden episode, which ends up revealing that the odd couple has much more in common through the convergence of their respective passions in music and food. Watch above as the two cook up a mouthwatering meal, discuss which songs they listen to while cooking, and share a heartwarming story about Action Bronson’s mom. To read the full interview, visit Billboard‘s website.
