will.i.am's the "dial" Smartwatch Is Now Ready for Pre-Order

The musically gifted entrepreneur that is William Adams — better known as will.i.am — has been spending his time developing his latest venture from the tech industry: the dial, a smartwatch with its own voice-recognized virtual assistant called AneedA. Like its artificial sisters — Siri, Cortana and Alexa — AneedA is programmed to execute orders and provide search results while keeping your hands free. While the virtual assistant is no new innovation, the dial claims that AneedA will be able to “tailor responses to each consumer.” Only time will tell how well that plays out. In the meantime, readers in the UK will have a chance to pre-order the dial from UK’s mobile network provider Three, with the catch of needing to sign up on a new contract as the dial actually supports a Three SIM card.
